Two pairs (first defective) in a row, both mfg packages looked previously opened.
I really want to like these Epson smart glasses. The first set I received, the seal sticker on the box were broken open. They (the seals) even looked 'dirty' like someone had them for a while. Then the processor unit got stuck in some kind of loop after the software update and wouldn't restart. Epson support said they've only seen a few where that happened and I should return them to Amazon for a replacement. I received the replacement and guess what... the seal on this box were broken open too. It sure seems Amazon is shipping me used, or previously returned merchandise! Well the software update went fine this time, but there now there seems to be something physically wrong with this pair. The screen projection is tilted to the left. I have tried adjusting the nose piece and using the secondary nose piece, and even using no nose piece, but they are physically sitting on my head tilted. I can not look at a tilted screen. I haven't even had a chance to try to fly with them. I have been an amazon customer for a long time, but I will not be buying anything expensive like this from Amazon again! 11/20/17 I am updating this post because I am still trying to figure out if this tilted projection is just me being hypercritical or what. I have had someone else look at it and say it looks fine. I will contact Epson support again and see what they have any other complaints like this. Also I have now had a chance to fly with these and man, I have to say... It is really nice to have the display right there in front of you. Even in bright sunlight right in the middle of the screen, with the dark shades provided (I don't have the Rochester shades,) you can read everything in the DJI Go 4 App and see the sUAV. They ARE kinda clunky though. The touch pad is sensitive and it's easy with a careless gesture (or accidentally touching the home button,) to knock yourself out of the app and back to the desktop, and then there's the wire with the useless clothing clip at a height that makes no sense tethering you to your controller. That being said... after experiencing these in flight, it would be hard to go back to using my phone or tablet. Not sure I would use these for anything else like movies or games though, so if you have the $ to drop on these its pretty cool.

I have followed the development of the Moverio BT-300 for a long time. It was an easy decision to purchase these because I wanted them after reading the early reviews the few people published.
The first time using the BT-300 FPV flying the DJI Mavic Pro I was simply amazed and how these preformed comparing to my other devices. The BT-300 become my choice for use with my Mavic Pro because they are simply amazing and provide what users want, clear picture, ability to view your radio and surroundings with removing the googles. There is only one choice and no room for a second after using the BT-300 for flight as a monitor for viewing what the Maivc Pro’s camera is viewing in real time.
The BT-300 can be used with glasses, is supplied with an addition extended nose bridge if needed for using glasses.
The included sun shades do a great job at blocking out the bright sun, 2 versions, one for not so sunny days, the other for them bright and sunny days. The additional Sun Shade manufactured by Rochester Optical is my choice for all uses, this limited-time offer performs great and adds a better look then the standard shades. All the shades can be removed with ease and swapped out fast if needed.
The controller navigation and use is easy to learn and performs well when navigating around the menus. It was easy to bind a Bluetooth Keyboard/Mouse combo to the controller making typing much easier. The Moverio App Market has additional Apps and the needed DJI Go App and DJI Go 4 App for use with the DJI Products. Apps from the Play Store can be used, I have installed Google Maps and this is a great addition to the App library on the BT-300.
I have uploaded movies in 2D and 3D and the experience watching them was very good.
The onboard camera can record your viewing experience leaving both hands free.
      Some Feature I like:
      Light
      Great Viewing Experience
      Using cameras to record
      Excellent lightweight viewing for travel.
      4-6 hour battery life

These work well for what they are marketed to do which is provide a first person view from my Mavic but also allows me to maintain a line of sight when I want to see my present surroundings / check the positioning of the drone.

I was hoping that the experience with these goggles would be far more immersive during flight. I expected to see this massive display before me when looking into these glasses but its not.

One of the most frustrating limitations of the Moverio BT-300 design is that you can not adjust the positioning of the lenses relative to your eye (also known as "pupillary distance"). Because of this, I am never able to get a totally crisp image and I almost always have split vision when looking at objects. For the sake of flying the drone, it is not too bad but still frustrating that my image is not totally clear as a result.

It would be nice if they could integrate some kind of functionality that allows me to rotate my head which would then allow the gimble to move. The Avant Glyph has this functionality and has been demonstrated when paired with the Phantom 4 & Inspire.

I agree with a previous review that using the track pad to type / navigate settings is tedious and inefficient. It would have been nice if Epson had figured out a way to integrate hand gestures / virtual keyboards that the user can use to navigate and manage the work space when the glasses are being worn.

I will give these guys a solid crack for the next week and post up a more in depth review on gear-nut dot com.

Love the tech. But Epson is seriously lacking with regards to their apps platform. I actually had to side load the latest firmware update for the Dji go 4 app. Because it wasn't showing up in the Moverio Store. Thats a serious problem if you cant download firmware updates for which the system was created for in the first place. I would not buy these again solely for that reason.

Update: Its now Nov 18 2019. Espon still has not updated the Android operating system for the glasses. And because of this you cannot update to the latest DJI GO 4 firmware. Which seriously impedes your ability to fly my Mavic2 with the glasses. They are now on the shelf collecting dust. I cant even sell them in the state they are in. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE GLASSES.

Reviewed in Canada on August 31, 2019
I had high hopes for the Movario BT-300 FPV glasses after watching numerous YT reviews, reading reviews online, which were mostly positive. When the package arrived and the box had obviously been opened (the tape sealing the box was covered in dirt and no longer sticks), I had concerns. I gave it the benefit of the doubt. My views are as follows: numerous folks online indicated you can wear prescription glasses with the replacement nose bridge. I found it extremely uncomfortable and difficult. The glasses also sat very heavy on my nose. I could not find an ideal viewing position that worked. The touchpad is tedious at best, very challenging to navigate. DJI GO 4 is an earlier version on Android on the OS. I could not connect my M2Z to the glasses despite numerous attempts. The projection image is “neat” (for a few minutes) but I could not see the screen clearly outside without attaching the shades provided. The edges of the screen were blurry, and I had to adjust the glasses to see information on the edges. The glasses fit extremely tight against my head and I do not have a big head by any means. Unfortunately, the tech is fascinating, but did not suit my FPV drone flying needs due to all of the above so I returned these very pricey glasses.

Purchased these a few days ago. Had a problem trying to set it up with my Spark. But soon had it up a running. If you are in a position where you have to fly your drone and keep it in line of site, then this one is for you! You have a great view through the lenses looking at your drone and then with a slight eye move you can see crystal clear of what your drone sees.
When your not using it with your drone you can use it like a tablet. View movies, YouTube and search anything you want. It also comes earplugs to listen. A little on the pricey side, but more than just goggles...
