      Will not charge anymore, bought 2 chargers DJI said were approved. I can return it but I need it so I am trying to see if DJI will stand behind their product or not. Brand New, Junk. Apparently, if you research the issue it is common.

      I paid well over $2,000 for a DJI Phantom 4 Pro + and the remote! This was just for the drone and controller. This didn’t include 3 extra batteries, extra blades. Luckily it came with the charger. I had to purchase the 3 battery charging cradle. The Lipo battery in mine just decided to stop charging. I called DJI and since they are in China or one of the other Asian countries, they were unwilling to help at all. All they wanted me to do was ship it back to them so they can replace the battery for a nominal fee! I tried the heating of the microchip trying to get the solder to reproportion itself and start charging again. Worked for every bit of 30 minutes before the alarm sounded that the battery was low on charge and was not charging. I even went so far as ordering a replacement battery from Amazon. I laid it on my work bench to replace it later. Well, when I got ready to replace the battery, the NEW ONE caught on fire!!! If I hadn’t been in the garage with the door raised at the time I have no doubt that our house would have gone up in smoke and ashes. The battery burned almost like magnesium. There was no flame per se but more like a white hot cutting torch fire. My drone has been idle now going on 6 months so I broke down and bought a “used but like new” controller. A “new one” is $1,200.00!!!! The controller and the battery providing power to it are junk!

      This remote breaks down after one year. This is a widespread problem, not being able to charge it anymore. Did the reflow trick which worked for 1 month, now it is broken again. DJI released a faulty product with bad soldering.
